About the role
As a Class 1 HGV Driver working either days or nights, you'll be responsible for transporting chilled and ambient goods between our depots and customer sites. You'll play a key role in delivering a reliable service, ensuring products arrive safely, on time, and in excellent condition.
Key responsibilities include:
Driving Class 1 HGV vehicles between depots and customer locations
Delivering chilled and ambient products safely, efficiently, and on schedule
Completing delivery documentation and ensuring all paperwork is accurate
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring loads are secured correctly
Complying with all road transport legislation, including Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
Assisting with loading and unloading activities when required
Ensuring loads are distributed safely and securely before departure

About you
You’ll need a full, clean HGV Class 1 licence, along with a valid CPC and tachograph card to get started. Since this is a customer-facing role, good English skills and a friendly, professional attitude go a long way. We’re looking for someone who is confident on the road, and takes pride in doing a great job. If you’re reliable, safety-conscious, and enjoy working independently while still being part of a supportive team, you’ll fit right in.
