About the role
Working Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth flow of transport and warehouse operations. You'll work closely with customers, planners, warehouse teams, and suppliers to ensure deliveries are managed efficiently and customer expectations are consistently met.
You will be responsible for:
Delivering excellent customer service through clear, timely communication and an understanding of customer requirements
Processing customer call-offs and updating stock and transport management systems
Creating accurate documentation to support delivery and transport activities
Liaising with warehouses and transport planners to ensure operational plans are achieved
Monitoring delivery status and providing customers with regular updates
Capturing and maintaining KPI data, reports, returns documentation, and invoicing information
Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, operational teams, and other key stakeholders
About you
You'll be an effective communicator with strong organisational and planning skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy operational environment. A natural problem-solver, you'll bring a positive, can do attitude and the confidence to challenge processes constructively when improvements can be made. Strong attention to detail, computer literacy, and a professional telephone manner are essential.
You'll thrive in this role if you're enthusiastic, resilient, and adaptable, with a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service. You'll enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues, supporting customers, and finding practical solutions to challenges.
