Extensive travel across the UK is an essential requirement of this role, with regular customer visits, networking, and on-site business development activities forming a key part of the position.
Working as part of the Commercial team, the role will drive profitable revenue growth through proactive business development, market analysis, customer engagement, and close collaboration with operational and account management teams. The position is critical to delivering DFDS's strategic ambition to grow its Part Load and Groupage offering and diversify freight volumes across the network.
You will be responsible for:
Developing and executing a sales strategy for Part Load and Groupage services
Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the UK market
Promoting consolidation and groupage solutions to customers
