Class 1 Driver - Days

About the role
You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to a range of destinations, carrying out both deliveries and collections using a modern fleet. This role requires a strong team player with a customer-focused mindset and a proactive, can do attitude.
You will be responsible for:
Ensure all delivery notes are signed upon delivery.
Adhere to all road transport regulations at all times.
Deliver chilled, produce, and ambient goods to customer premises.
Accurately record all activities in line with legal and company requirements.
Comply with European Drivers’ Hours regulations.
Work within the requirements of the Working Time Directive.
Ensure all loads are secured safely and appropriately.
About you
You will hold a full HGV Class 1 licence and have a valid Tacho Card as well as a current CPC qualification. You will possess good English communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to complete documentation accurately and interact effectively with customers and colleagues. In addition, you will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and take pride in representing the business in a professional manner.
