Casual Class 1 HGV Driver

About the role
This is a casual/zero-hours position, working Monday to Friday during the day. You’ll be responsible for local runs, moving mainly fridge loads with dry loads when required.
You will be responsible for:
- Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle on scheduled local routes
- Transporting chilled goods and monitoring fridge temperatures
- Completing daily walkaround checks and reporting any issues
- Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
- Handling basic paperwork and delivery logs
- Following road transport regulations and tachograph requirements
You’ll be working with a friendly, professional team and operating modern, well-maintained vehicles equipped for refrigerated transport.
About you
You’ll need a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and tachograph card. Experience with fridge work is preferred, but training can be provided. You should be reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
