**Any 5 from 7 - 12 hour shift pattern 06:30 - 18:30**

About the role

You will be responsible for:

• Efficiently plan daily transport schedules, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and the consolidation of trans-ship loads
• Ensuring all drivers use the app for tracking, pods and KPI reports
• Track delivery performance – recording depot departure times, delivery times and provide handover report for senior management
• Maintain and update driver rotas, track vehicles via Velocity & WADS, and ensure adequate assets and resources are available for daily operations.
• Monitor customer order flow and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely fulfilment and communication of any issues.
• Participate in periodic or ad-hoc stock reconciliation and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage bookings for inbound/outbound transport with third-party hauliers and customers, ensuring accurate scheduling and system updates

About you

• To work with adherence to processes and show examples of using own initiative, prioritization and forward-planning.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns (including unsociable hours) and work with adherence to processes
• Excellent IT skills
• Previous general warehousing / Transport experience
• Experience of the Red Prairie Warehouse Management System
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines & targets Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules and read understand and follow directions
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
