Operations Coordinator (FTC)

**10.5 hour shifts variable**
06:00-16:30, 09:00-19:30, 11:00-21:30, 15:30-02:00. 19:30-06:00
Any 4 days per week Monday-Saturday

About the role
You will be responsible for:
Ensuring the vessels are full on departure, leaving on time and that our customers receive the best service possible.
Communicating with lots of colleagues including the Vessel Loading Officer, Customer Services and Check in Teams.
Ensuring the ground operations run smoothly when the vessel is on berth.
Coordinating all aspects of a port call, actioning operational and technical requests from vessels and various entities.
Checking all trailers before departure for damages and confirming the booking details match those stated on the system, whilst producing the loading lists for vessel departures.
About you
Computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams are needed, as well as an ability to pick up new programmes quickly would be advantageous.
Good team player, who can use their initiative if working alone, combined with a positive attitude and the ability to remain flexible in a changing environment, should the sailing be delayed or late on occasion.
Good planning/organisational skills
