About the role

You will be responsible for:

• Responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading goods from trucks, containers, or storage areas, ensuring all products are handled with care and documented correctly.
• Load and unload materials, products, and equipment from trucks, containers, and trailers
• Ensure proper stacking, securing, and placement of goods to prevent damage during transport
• Follow safety procedures and protocols during loading/unloading operations.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and report damages or shortages and operate loading equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, Experienced with driving PPT.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading/unloading areas and assist in inventory checks, labelling, and packaging if needed. 
• Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations

About you

• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions & work procedures be health & safety aware.

• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines & targets.

• MHE licences including reach and counterbalance forklift (desirable, not essential)

• An understanding of warehousing operations
