Freight Sales Coordinator
Do you want to be a valued part of the critical infrastructure that serves communities across Europe and beyond? Are you looking for a position in which you can set direction and help shape our company? If so, then you could be the newest addition to our team as a Freight Sales Coordinator.
Be part of the movement – and play your part.
About the role
As a Freight Sales Coordinator, you play a pivotal role in driving business growth and maintaining strong customer relationships. You act as the bridge between clients and internal departments, ensuring that service delivery aligns with customer expectations. Your daily activities focus on nurturing a robust portfolio of existing clients, while also seeking new business opportunities through proactive outreach and collaboration. Leveraging CRM systems and providing timely market feedback ensures streamlined communication, effective issue resolution, and strategic decision-making across the team.
You will be responsible for
- Maintaining and growing a portfolio of customers by providing competitive rates, regular reporting, and ensuring service excellence.
- Generating new business through self-driven prospecting, internal referrals, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Communicating regularly with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and gather market intelligence.
- Promoting and actively utilizing CRM systems to document all client interactions, opportunities, and follow-ups.
- Providing structured feedback and performance updates to the Management Team through CRM reports and scheduled meetings.
About you
You’re a motivated and dynamic sales professional who understands the value of strong customer relationships and proactive service. With a solid background in sales and customer service, you’re confident in both managing an existing portfolio of clients and prospecting to generate new business opportunities. You have a proven ability to identify customer needs, offer tailored solutions, and consistently deliver results.
While direct experience in ferry services isn’t required, a broader understanding of the logistics, transport, or freight forwarding industry will be a strong advantage. You’re commercially minded, quick to learn, and always looking for ways to add value — both to your customers and your team.
Your natural communication skills, approachable manner, and ability to work collaboratively make you a great fit for team-based environments. At the same time, you're self-driven and comfortable working independently, showing initiative in everything you do. Above all, you’re someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives on achieving goals, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
We think the strongest teams are built on diversity and inclusivity. Contrasting opinions, varied skills and strong characters bring out the best in us all. And we cannot wait for you to join.
